Geely Connect is a software package that upgrades the infotainment screen of Geely cars in Vietnam, with 4 main feature groups:

Companion app for iPhone & Android

The Geely Connect companion app runs on iPhone (iOS) and Android phones. It syncs vehicle data, locates the car, shares routes and music/video to the car screen, and remotely controls the air conditioning, windows, front trunk and tailgate.

Home screen (Launcher)

The Geely Connect launcher splits the screen in two: the left column shows speed, gear, battery %, remaining range, ODO, pressure and temperature of all 4 tires plus the Quick Control panel; the right side embeds apps such as Google Maps, Vietmap Live Pro or YouTube Music. The launcher reconnects to WiFi automatically and opens or closes the front trunk, tailgate and windows with one tap.

Vietnamese & English voice assistant

Geely Connect includes a voice assistant that understands both Vietnamese and English. The driver can set the A/C temperature, fan speed, drive mode and regenerative braking level, and control apps without touching the screen; the assistant confirms each command on screen.

  • Understands VietnameseSpeak naturally in Vietnamese, e.g. "Đặt nhiệt độ 20 độ" (set temperature to 20°), "Quạt gió mức 3" (fan level 3), "Chuyển sang chế độ tiết kiệm" (switch to Eco).
  • Voice control of the carSet the A/C temperature, fan level, drive mode (Eco/Sport) and regeneration level — the on-screen values change right after the command.
  • Open videos by voiceSay a song or video name and YouTube opens it on screen.
  • Clear feedbackThe assistant bar shows Listening → Processing → result (e.g. "Setting fan to level 3"); unrecognised commands are reported so you can try again.
  • English supportSwitch to English for drivers who prefer it or for foreign residents.

How to pick apps for split screen

Tap the ⋯ button at the top of a half of the screen to open the app list inside it, then pick YouTube in place of Vietmap Live Pro; the other half keeps navigating with Google Maps.

No. The apps run directly on the car screen. The screen only needs Internet over WiFi (for example a phone hotspot) and reconnects to saved WiFi networks automatically.

Can I watch YouTube while driving?

YouTube is included, but for safety only watch videos when the car is parked or charging. While driving, use the voice assistant and music apps.

Does the screen show tire pressure?

Yes. The home screen shows tire pressure so you can monitor each wheel.

How do I get Geely Connect installed?

Contact GeelyApp.com for advice for your model, book an appointment and have the package installed, then download the companion app to your phone and pair it with the car.

Can I get Geely Connect if I live far from a dealer?

Yes. A technician installs it remotely via UltraViewer or TeamViewer. Prepare a Windows laptop with Internet access and a 32GB USB drive formatted as FAT32, then message us on Zalo or call the hotline to book.
